Live Engineering Session

30 April 2026

Live Engineering Session

Live Engineering Sessions started as an experiment — coding in public, solving real problems, and building consistency through shared learning.

Instead of isolated practice, the goal was simple:

Show real engineering work happening live.

Over time, this evolved into a structured ecosystem where learning happens across multiple channels — not just in isolation.

We now run live study sessions on Discord, maintain YouTube playlists for different learning tracks, and record every important session so it stays accessible for anyone who wants to revisit or catch up later.

Routine

The sessions follow a simple structure designed for consistency:

  • Morning deep work (hardest tasks first)
  • Afternoon practice (problem solving and building)
  • Evening review (reflection and planning)

This rhythm helps maintain focus across long periods without burning out or losing direction.

Live Study on Discord

Alongside coding sessions, we also run public live study rooms on Discord.

These are open environments where people:

Weekend Tech Grind
  • code together in real time
  • discuss problems as they work through them
  • stay accountable through shared presence
  • ask questions without hesitation

It removes isolation from learning and replaces it with a sense of collective progress.

YouTube Learning System

All structured learning content is organized into playlists on YouTube.

Each playlist focuses on a specific area:

  • engineering sessions
  • problem solving practice
  • system design discussions
  • open source and contribution workflows
  • ICPC preparation sessions

This makes it easy to revisit topics without losing context and helps people learn at their own pace.

Live Sessions

Every live session is recorded and uploaded to YouTube after it ends.

This ensures that:

  • no session is lost
  • people can rewatch complex discussions
  • newcomers can catch up anytime
  • knowledge stays persistent instead of temporary

The recordings act as a growing library of real engineering thinking in action.

Live Session Examples

Design Principles and OAD

This session focused on structured problem solving, debugging workflows, and thinking through systems in real time while coding publicly.

Think Like a senior Engineer

This session explored practical development flow — breaking down problems into smaller steps and maintaining consistency during long coding sessions.

Midday Flow

There are moments in every session where momentum becomes fragile.

This is usually where focus either builds or breaks.

Consistency matters more than intensity. Progress is often decided in these quiet middle phases rather than the beginning or end.

Why Live Sessions Matter

Live Engineering Sessions are not just about coding in real time. They are about changing how people approach learning altogether.

They help in building:

  • accountability through visibility
  • real debugging experience instead of passive learning
  • consistency through routine participation
  • collaborative thinking instead of isolated effort

Most importantly, they shift learning from something individual into something shared.

Result

Over time, this system creates a different kind of engineer.

Not someone who only learns in bursts, but someone who builds steadily.

Better focus.
Fewer distractions.
Long-term consistency instead of short-term effort.
